Finally visited the famous Goldens in Vermont! I got a text from my friend in the group chat who told us that she panic bought $187 pp tickets to drink wine with the dogs at @goldendogfarmvt 😹🍷 this was a special event thing that they hosted (there are less expensive options) but it was the only way for us to visit that worked with our schedule lol and of course we all agreed that we must do it. And sure it was wildly expensive but so is therapy if you’re paying out of pocket and so are designer bags and so is a ticket to see Noah Kahan so 🤷‍♀️ The dogs part of the experience are from multiple different families and the wine is made by the humans who own the farm! They’re located sort of near Stowe, VT (up and over the mountain road (which closes as soon as it gets snowy/icy/too cold)). It was special. Thank you @katiethegreaty for panic buying. 💚

After I was fired I turned down two other TV news jobs to make my own dream come true. To support myself financially, I took a part-time job at Pure Glow on Newbury Street and gave spray tans while creating as many Reels as I could handle. I don’t talk about that period of my life publicly but it was a wild year and a half. I was up late, I was up early, I was grinding!! 💪 I used content I had previously captured and content from new adventures to inspire travel in New England. I was living off a small paycheck, tips, and my savings. I was building my very own one-woman production company with Instagram as the outlet. 🎥 At the beginning of 2023, I was able to leave my part-time spray tan job and create content highlighting the beauty of New England full time. 🍁 And yes, it has been stressful at times, I’ve made many mistakes, and I still cry during tax season, but I’m getting better and learning so much. I have made my dreams come true. 💫 😭 I don’t have to request vacation time 6 months in advance, I don’t have to wake up at 3am and I don’t have to straighten my hair and cake on makeup every day for the news. I do feel like I work 10X more now but it’s SO MUCH MORE FUN and it’s for ME and not for another man’s business. 🙌 THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE ORGANIZATIONS AND BUSINESSES I HAVE EVER COLLABORATED WITH, you have helped to make my dreams come true. 💞 THANK YOU TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY who never doubted my wild idea of making content creation a realistic way to financially support myself and my cat Mozzarella. 🐱💕 Thank you to her, too, for sitting on my lap while I edit many videos (she is literally on my lap right now as I write this). THANK YOU TO THIS COMMUNITY!!!! When I see someone else wearing the 2018 Boston Marathon jacket, I immediately feel connected to them. Sometimes there’s an exchange of words and sometimes there’s just a nod, but I know we’re both having flashbacks to that freezing monsoon. I’m so curious: did you keep running marathons after that year? Because I retired my long runs that day. 😅 But what I love most about Boston is that even in a torrential downpour, the city still shows up. If you were on the sidelines in 2018, thank you forever. Without that energy, I really think I would have given up right before Wellesley. It was the college girls that gave me another spark (and a huge trash bag, turned poncho, from the medical tent). If you’re running Boston this year: HAVE SO MUCH FUN! And thank you to everyone fundraising, this race is a remarkable one. I can’t wait to cheer and ugly cry for all of you. Also, please enjoy that perfect running weather you lucky little b*tches. 😹

So many greats resting in one place. 🧡 Have you been to Sleepy Hollow Cemetary in Concord? There is so much history in this Massachusetts town 40 minutes west of Boston. It’s considered the birthplace of the nation and was home to famous authors who lived and wrote during the same time in Concord. There’s a small parking lot inside the cemetery, you’ll have to walk the rest of the way to Authors Ridge. It won’t take that long so plan to tour the authors homes before or after and definitely check out the town!

The cinnamon buns at @codoughbakery are exactly what you want them to be. (Filmed before the Blizzard of ‘26 ☃️) It was the perfect amount of icing juices for me. Find Co Dough inside Market on Broadway in Newport, Rhode Island. Get there early! A line was forming and we got there at 8:15 on a Friday. They start serving at 8:30.

Find Co Dough inside Market on Broadway in Newport, Rhode Island. Get there early! A line was forming and we got there at 8:15 on a Friday. They start serving at 8:30.

Why visit Québec City in December ⬇️🎄❤️ ✨ The vibes: It’s like flying into a European nation only you don’t have to leave the continent. With old cobblestone streets, beautiful architecture and incredible Christmas decor. The big Christmas tree in the reel is in the “Place Royale” a square in the city. 🥨 German Christmas Markets: find them in Old Quebec November 20 - December 23. 🎭 Kaléidoscopes (basically an entertainment type of market): after the German Christmas Markets the stalls swap to entertainment with music, theater and other interesting art shows from December 27 - 31. How cool is that?? 🎄 Giant puppet parade: Quebec CRUSHES parades. I have *never* seen better. See the giant puppets for free on November 29 or December 13. 🛷 Toboggan sled + other activities: the toboggan sled run was amazing, find it at Dufferin Terrace. Don’t miss ice skating and visiting a spa, they do spas here justice. We went to Strom Spa and loved it. @au1884 🛍️ Shopping: in general QC has stores you won’t find in the United States, they are very creative. ❄️ SNOW: It’s much more likely you’ll get a white Christmas in QC. 😊 Friendliness: everyone is too nice in Canada. The happiness is high. 🚶‍♀️ Walkability: it’s so easy to walk around here, the city size is just right. 🎆 New Years Eve: I have not been but I have been for their winter carnival in February and IT WAS THE BEST TIME. The outdoor performances are amazing, and everyone just wears their snowpants/jacket. They really embrace winter in a smart and fun way. Better late than never! I want to take everyone here!!!! The Flume is a 2 mile loop hike and will probably take you 2 hours if you’re taking your time, breaks and photos. You’ll start with a steep downhill before reaching ✨ The Flume ✨ and then there are many steps to go back up. There’s another downhill after that. I rate it as easy but it’s definitely not a walk in the park. It’s a moss lovers dream and felt like another world. Go see it!!!!!!

Better late than never! I want to take everyone here!!!! The Flume is a 2 mile loop hike and will probably take you 2 hours if you’re taking your time, breaks and photos. You’ll start with a steep downhill before reaching ✨ The Flume ✨ and then there are many steps to go back up. There’s another downhill after that. I rate it as easy but it’s definitely not a walk in the park. It’s a moss lovers dream and felt like another world. Go see it!!!!!!
