“Joe Lacob, the principal owner of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, is the only publicly known suitor. Lacob met with Padres officials in San Diego last week. Two league sources said the group he heads is the leading suitor. Others involved in the process characterized that as not accurate.” t.co/Qg206OkbYE
@MLFootball Staged. 🤦♂️
Should’ve never started Yu Darvish. What a terrible decision by Mike Shildt. This guy has been terrible all season long.
The Padres hitting coach has got to go. Every star player on this team is regressing. The approach at the plate has been terrible, with no discipline. These guys are swinging at first pitches, chasing pitches out of the zone, and watching strikes go right down the middle. They need a new voice in the clubhouse because whatever they're doing isn't working. The Padres should've kept Victor Rodriguez.
The Padres couldn’t handle a manager like Mike Shildt, who set a standard and held players and coaches accountable. We don’t need a buddy-buddy clubhouse culture. Everyone needs to be held accountable, from the coaching staff to the players. Right now, there doesn’t seem to be any standard in that clubhouse, and it shows on the field.
San Diegans are being excluded from buying presale tickets to the 2028 Olympic soccer matches at Snapdragon Stadium… in their own city. That’s absolutely pathetic. t.co/U3TO8BSC78
This is what makes the Chula Vista/Bonita baseball community so special. 🔥⚾️ Before the 2026 Sweetwater Valley team, 4 of the previous 12 San Diego County teams to reach the Little League World Series came from the South Bay’s District 42 area: • Park View — 2009 🏆 • Eastlake — 2013 • Sweetwater Valley — 2015 • Park View — 2016 Now add Sweetwater Valley 2026 to that list. 5 of the 13 San Diego County LLWS teams have come from this area. That’s why I’ll keep saying it: Chula Vista is the Mecca for baseball talent in San Diego County. 🌎⚾️🔥
@HustleBitch_ Happens on Fridays. 🤦♂️ Nothing new
Padres 😉
@BurdenBurner The WBC is every 3 years.
The Padres are better right now than they were when the full squad reported last season for Spring Training. Honestly, this team is even better than the one that went into the postseason last year.
“According to the filing, Sheel Seidler dismissed almost all of her claims in the lawsuit she brought in Texas probate court last year, when she accused Matt and Bob Seidler of breaches of fiduciary duty and fraud in their roles as trustees of Peter Seidler’s trust. With the exception of Sheel Seidler’s claims regarding trust distributions and a demand for accounting, the filing said the two sides had reached an “agreement to resolve the matters between them,” though the terms were not disclosed.”
“Potentially available names this summer include a pair of possible Hall of Fame closers: the Boston Red Sox’s Aroldis Chapman and Hader, now with the Houston Astros.”
Ethan Salas will be on this Padres roster in September.
A bidding war between billionaires? Exactly what San Diego needs. They see the value. They see the potential.
Dylan Cease and the Padres can’t even hang with the White Sox. This is pathetic.
